It's going to depend on the TC inspector who reviews your logbook. Some are slow, others are fast. Every TC inspector that I talk to seems to have a mountain of work to do and not enough time to do it in. Best bet I think is to submit it wherever is convenient for you to walk into the office. Go and visit them once a week to inquire about the status of your logbook review. It took the inspector who looked at mine about 4 weeks when I went for my M1 and a different inspector all of 3 days when I went for the M2 five years later.

And what would you gain from that?sabby123 wrote:I plan to submit my log book soon as i think i have enough tasks
You can do it twelve months before your apprenticeship is up. You have to wait for six months before your apprenticeship is up before you can write CARs.sabby123 wrote:but am unsure if i can before the 6 month date prior to my 48 month apprenticeship is up
Re: AME log book submission
I handed in my logbook in Abbotsford, while I lived in Tsawwassen. I handed it in there because everyone said they'd get through it faster. About a week after I submitted it I got a letter in the mail saying it was being sent to Richmond as it was geographically closer. So in my attempt to save time, I wasted about a week. I second just handing it in to the nearest/most convenient TC office, it might wind up there anyways!
