Any one know what does the SFAR 41C at the back of your AME license mean?

What are the special federal aviation regulations?

It allows you to release maintenance on SFAR 41C airplanes; aircraft which basically fall between the cracks with regard to M1/M2 designation.

M1 and/or M2 licences have SFAR 41C privileges.

The ones I can think of off the top are:
- Beech 1900C
- Fairchild Metro
- Embraer Bandeirante
- Dornier 228

Not sure if there are others.

SFAR 41C were interim standards introduced to deal with what would eventually become the commuter category.
