748's? A little heavy on the $$$$ to keep in the air. It's a dying aircraft. Great fun to fly, but I fear a Hawker could well be the kiss of death. BTW, I know the Hawker CP, he's a good guy with a sence of humour. And nobody would like to see NAC kick Wasaya's ass more than him! And me, of course!! But to really kick butt will require theft of the fuel contracts, and that will take some fancy footwork.

For Guys who I assume have worked for wasaya before, where are NAC going to get there fuel in pickle from wasaya. I think that the most you will see between these two company's will be a merger. I think there is a better chance that NSC will compete east with something larger against Bearskin before they focus on that part of the north. That and the fact that if they have a descent ticket price and some customer service skills it won't take much to put a fork in Bearskin.

nac vs wasaya
It is silly to comapre bearskin now to the native owned airlines in nw ont.
it is not a level runway. re tax advantages that all native owned companies have over the privately owned and funded companies.
also the constant bailout packages threw back door channels federal gov't departments hrdc/ heritage canada/ indian and northern affairs etc.
which a the non native companies are given the flat drop dead. response (aircanada excluded).
lets see 7 percent gst 10percent excise tax on fuel and no income tax if the head office is located on a reserve how can any one compete unless natives against natives.
there will be more consolidation in the next 3 -5 yrs due to economy of scale and to protect the traditional market area against encroachment of other large native companies from neighbouring provinces. The permiter
keywaywin merger etc.
better get used to it and have a good back up plan. OH HAZARD AWESOME AVATAR!! IF YOU ARE HANGIN with her you are a lot smater than the average bear bo boo
