I'm going to Winnipeg for an interview next week. Anybody have an idea of what sort of questions can/will be asked? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you PM 'Discostu' as it appears he's a Perimeter employee.

To be honest, you sound like you don't have the 1000 hour requirement that they want. Why don't you try applying to National Flyers. They have a very nice sattelite base they may let you run.

I hope you are who I think you are, otherwise I apologize for the sarcasm. Regardless, best of luck with your interview no matter who you are.

My friend is going out next week too. He laughed at me when I told him what I posted. My apologies again.

We actually had one of our instructors go to perimeter. She had a ten minute phone interview and got hired. I have also heard from someone else that their interview was brief. However, I would not rely on that. My friend is gonna review all the IFR stuff he should know already, other than that I am not much help.

Best of luck again.

i have not applied there, but friend did and said they had a 1 hour sit down IFR briefing with a few other questions on PDM and general personality stuff... you don't really need one of those, but know your IFR stuff for sure. They did not get the job. there you go. good luck.

That 1000 hours is for the school. If you can get a job at perimeter take it!!!! To say it will sharpen your IFR is an understatement. And that multi PIC time is what makes an instructers resume really worth looking at. Especially if you get to do some bag runs and charters.

Is Bill Zuchkan still the CFI? He's a fella you can learn alot from. He really knows his stuff and he's a hell of a nice guy.

Good luck on the interview. Study the Cap gen inside out and backwards.

Cheers.

Finished my training at perimeter in juna and I can say that it was absolutely briliant. Bill is still the CFI and did my Ir ride. Never met a nicer guy. Just sent them my resume. Not heared anything yet tho...
