AirSprint?
Here they may be lookng in the fall. Anyone comment on salary and working conditions?
I've heard such mixed stories about sprint. I think your experience there will vary greatly depending on what base you're assigned to and what position you're hired for. I have heard that things are getting better there. I suppose it's a lot cheaper to keep crews happy then to send someone to SIMCOM every month.

Sim training certainly isn't the only cost associated with personnel change, although it's a lot harder to put dollar figures on inefficiencies, decreased morale, paperwork, customer service, etc.endless wrote:I suppose it's a lot cheaper to keep crews happy then to send someone to SIMCOM every month.

rockabilly
what else can you say about sprint.
Would they hire a guy with 1000 hours to fly right seat on the pilatus and what do you mean you have buddies that have one foot out of the door?
Are they looking to move on?
Any other info on sprint good or bad would be appreciated.
thanks

I heard their upgrade times are long, why wouldnt you just go up to YQT to fly a pilatus with 1000hrs, you'll go capt quicker.bluenote wrote:rockabilly

Are you resurrecting all the oldest AirSprint threads you can find just to complain on behalf of your "buddies"?rockabilly wrote:Have buddies there who have one foot out the door. They like to envoke fear, play political games and pay is below standard considering they deal with millionaire customers.
No matter how much has changed, some things remain the same. This is well known in the Industry.

Bluenote:
I have friends there as well. One upgraded rather quickly, one not so quickly but it's going to happen. It's all a matter of timing and need....as with anywhere your going to apply.
They both seem rather happy and I haven't ever heard either one of them complain about cashflow.
As for your 1000 hrs...would they hire me ? No one can tell you that except them and you'll never get that info unless you send in a CV. Really, what does it cost to e-mail someone your resume ?

For many people, lifestyle is far more important. It may take you longer to upgrade at Sprint, but if you want to live in a big city and fly to places like NYC, Vegas, Boston, etc instead of reserves up north, then Sprint would be a much better fit.lyncher wrote:seriously, considering, I knew guys that went there with 1500 hrs (most of it being pilatus time) and they had to wait almost a year for upgrade....
