Over seas gig
Hey Everyone,
Does anyone know of any over seas jobs that don't require a perminant move? Say like two months in two months out? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find in this business

I believe Execaire does rotational work on 2 B1900 in Africa. 1 month in, 1 month out.

It depends what you fly and in what capacity. Nowadays you can get a left seat position in the Middle East, Africa or Asia if you currently fly a Challenger or bigger. Even Airlines offer rotation jobs now, i.e. A320/737 in China 6 weeks on 2 weeks off type of deal.
imho, I would not stick with Canadian operators, because many of them keep on paying the same shit wages they pay at home. There are many very competent companies out there, which have worldwide fleets such as TAG, ExecuJet or JetAviation (to name a few, though those don't normally offer rotation).
As another poster suggested, making a permanent move is also a great option.

The sense I took from the OP, was that he wanted a rotational job based out of Canada.
It would help a bit if you shared what types you have flown or have a type rating on. TT etc.
There are lots of jobs, but very different if you are an Airbus rated Captain of a new CPL.
But the advice regarding most Canadian operators is true from what I have seen. There are exceptions though. Good exceptions

Quite a few of the overseas "gigs" outside of the Middle East don't really want you to move there and offer commuting/rotational type of contracts. Chinese airlines are looking for experienced 737 Captains. Skymark in Japan is looking for 737 people.
If it is 2 months in, 2 months out type of gigs, well, those are a little rare. A lot of people would like something like that, and the only region that comes to mind is Saudi Arabia where you might be able to pick up something on a BBJ with those types of terms and conditions.
