GGN7329 is scheduled at 18:25 using an RJ, Toronto to Milwaukee. I'm not sure if this is their first flight RJ flight though.

OC: Check
Clapped out RJ 100's: Check
Pilots willing to fly for crap and be treated like crap: Maybe not!

So where did the planes actually come from? Jazz? Or were they mothballed somewhere?

The RJ's were previously owned by Aircanada and operated by Jazz. But they were to inefficient and expensive so they were sold to AVMAX who bought them for a steal of a deal. Heard as low as $750,000 a piece.
Air Canada is now leasing back their garbage to do the same routes. At what cost???

Georgians first 2 RJ flights got out 2 hours late according to flightaware and tomorrow it looks like they will try to run all there airplanes out of yyz at the same time, pretty ambitious.
But these are just growing pains.

What kind of snacks are they serving in the back?

A little foil bag of 'sit down and shut up'
(to any uppity passengers who want to complain about service)

An AC pilot told me that their was 4 YYG turns in open flying yesturday. I checked Flica (Jazz), to see that GGN`s routes were also in Opening flying their too, lol. I think the only places they did go were Raleigh, and Minneapolis with 2 hour + delays. Checked today and their flights had 2 hour + delay too, BUT thats probably because the 33's are in use right

I truly pray from the bottom of my heat that Georgian fails epically with this RJ experiment, and that all the scab pilots that CHOOSE to work there for bottom feeder wages are taking down along with them.

That comes across as rather personal. Do you have a specific bug up your butt? Do tell. Did you apply at GGN and they turn you down? Not very classy to hope a company in the already diffiult aviation sector fail along with all its pilots. Maybe therapy is in order?

So basically the same truck that loads the snacks on Air Canada can make a stop at Georgian. Efficient. I like it.

Judging by the flight status they're having a few growing pains. 2 hr delays, 10 hr delays and some cancelled flights!

Give them a couple months and the delays will be resolved I'm sure. I also don't see how it will "fail epically" either. They're doing it cheaper and that's all people want, cheap. They will succeed until someone can do it cheaper. Sad? Yes.

Really? You'd wish I'll will on other pilots like that?
Funny, it's not the so call 'scab' pilots you speak of that I would never hire at my company. No, it's people with attitudes and hatred like yours that I'd avoid.
Grow up. What a disgusting thing to say publicly. Unbelievable.

As much as passengers (people) moan and complain about bad service, they will still buy the cheapest ticket. It's why Ryan Air exists and makes money, and the same reasoning why companies like Walmart make ridiculous amounts of money. It all comes down to $$$.
To those who blame the GGN pilots who took the jobs, you have hilariously large (and silly looking) blinders on. The causes and trends that lead to this point, for AC and the airline sector in general, started decades ago. Blaming pilots now for the sins of previous generations of pilots, airline CEOs, and government deregulation simply illustrates your ignorance.
As Jack White so famously (depending on your taste in music) wrote:
"You built a house of cards, and got shocked when you saw them fall
Well I ain't saying I'm innocent, in fact, the reverse
But if you're headed to the grave, you don't blame the hearse
You're like a little girl yelling at her brother, 'cause you lost his ball"
(If you don't see how the above lyrics apply, my imagination weeps for you).

I apologize for my previous post, looking back it was a too harsh, I'm sorry. It's just really frustrating and depressing to sit back and watch what is happening to the piloting profession in this country. So very sad.

It is sad. From what I hear it's a real s*%@ show over at GGN right now. Interesting to see how it all plays out. If pilots said no to this crap it would stop tomorrow. Of course that won't happen.
