BLACKCOMB AVIATION is a privately owned Company and Western Canada’s premier multi-fleet helicopter and private jet charter service. We are a full-service, multi-fleet aviation company with aircraft charters and aircraft maintenance services in rotary wing and fixed wing divisions. We operate aircraft out of bases in Vancouver/Richmond at YVR, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lillooet and Sechelt but all our ports of call are global. The successful candidate will join a small group of dedicated people in a challenging and dynamic professional setting.
We are searching for a Chief Pilot and Captain to join our team. The candidate is a qualified, highly motivated leader who has experience managing a team of pilots with an excellent safety record and dedication to a high level of customer service. The Chief Pilot is responsible for upholding the professional standards of the flight crews. Your main duties are ground and flight crew training, developing standard operating procedures, implementing training programs, issuing directives, staff scheduling and management, and all other duties as assigned.
In addition to your management duties, you are an experienced Captain with time on business jets.

Requirements:
• In depth operations knowledge of aviation with management experience;
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college would be an asset;
• Resident of Canada or Current Canadian Work Visa;
• Proven safety record and safety first attitude;
• Previous Chief Pilot/Operations Manager experience;
• Minimum of 4000 hours as Pilot in Command;
• EX-2000/C-680/ C-550 experience would be an asset;
• In depth knowledge of all regulatory requirements including CARs and MCM;
• Experience in training, planning and assigning work to others;
• Customer service driven.
