GGN FO 1900 to RJ
I'm curious as to what kind of wait there will be for a new hire FO to get the right seat on an RJ...
Ready? Set? Gooooooo.....

I'm not going to weigh in with my thoughts on the matter.
I am going to crack my beer and recline my chair, ready for the ensuing madness.

Less, as you are able to gain valuable experience on the companies dime.
Re: GGN FO 1900 to RJ
Why don't you just apply to Jazz? You can go direct entry RJ, no need to wait it out on a 1900. You'll get paid a hell of a lot more working for a way better company!HiLo wrote:I'm curious as to what kind of wait there will be for a new hire FO to get the right seat on an RJ...

Heh, sounds reasonable. But what if I offer to pay for my training? Only fair, what with a shiny jet and all...flyinhigh wrote:Less, as you are able to gain valuable experience on the companies dime.

I'll pay to fly it. Considering that I paid over $300 an hour for a clapped out Seminole, $500 per hour for an RJ is a bargain.
Plus it's small change in the end when I am a captain for Big Red making $500,000 per year for two days of work a month.....

Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

Does it matter? I'd bet he'd be looking for a job sooner then 6 years working on the salary offered at GGNloopa wrote:Will he have a job in 6 years?kingtwo wrote:Why don't you just apply to Jazz? A mile of road will take you a mile, but a mile of runway can take you anywhere
