Wow!!! What to say. Good luck getting new jobs. I actually almost shed a tear when I heard the news. Ok, not really. But I do feel for the guys and gals, both pilots and mechanics who are out of work now. I hope everyone of you have a speedy recovery and you can quickly bury this part of your life a...

No one will believe it or see it coming until they go to do their walk around on the jetstream and realize it either has one of them parking meter hubcaps on it, or is being towed away, the plane is gone or the ...

I believe peaceair has a deal with Greyhound right now. Pick up at CYXD Esso Avitat. At least there won't be a fuel tax added onto the fare.

Good luck boys..... I just hope that the PC12 FOs aren't above going back to the ramp. That may be the only option with very little total time and PC12 right seat time. Chins up and hang in there. It will only get better now.

Maybe I am wrong and maybe it was metioned earlier, (I don't feel like reading all of the posts ie 7 pages), but don't you need something like 750 hours total time before you can write your IATRA. Isn't the IATRA a minimum requirement for a 705 job. I could be wrong, I am sure if I am, someone here ...

Isn't that what was said a couple years ago. I believe the date was right around the second week of September in 2001. What does an energy advisor know about terrorist threats.

Sinjin, are you an old pilot? I only ask because once I got that first elusive job/break, I couldn't imagine doing anything else. How long did it take you to realize it wasn't for you? This isn't an attack either, I am honestly curious.

Yeah, I've seen this before, not on an RJ and not in North America. Last time I was flying over Saudi Arabia, I had a similar occurence. After landing we found the same type of fabric wrapped around the remains of the engine, just as you see here. After the SATNSSMB (Saudi Arabian Transportation Not...

We sit there for 5"" minutes actually to let the EFIS warm up and the AHRS to boot up. Those little TV screens that we sit in front of all day. Yeah, if we move before all the little red flag thingys disappear it takes even longer more like 8 minutes, so suck it up. My biggest peeve is when I call f...
