Infidel with oil, LOOK OUT
http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/02/ ... index.html
"Saudi wing of al Qaeda has called for attacks targeting U.S. oil• The threat appeared in e-magazine
• Group was behind failed suicide attack on world's largest oil processing plant
Adjust font size:
DUBAI (Reuters) -- A Saudi wing of al Qaeda called for attacks on U.S. oil sources across the world, saying targets should not be limited to the Middle East and listing Canada, Venezuela and Mexico as U.S. oil suppliers.
The threat appeared in the al Qaeda Organization in the Arabian Peninsula's e-magazine, Sawt al-Jihad (Voice of Holy War), which was posted on a Web site used by Islamist militants.
"It is necessary to hit oil interests in all regions which serve the United States not just in the Middle East. The goal is to cut its supplies or reduce them through any means," it said.
The group was behind the February 2006 failed suicide attack on the world's largest oil processing plant in Saudi Arabia.
In 2003, al Qaeda militants launched a violent campaign to topple the U.S.-allied Saudi royal family with suicide attacks on compounds housing Westerners and on government buildings."
Who is the real terroist here. CNN (ie news agencies) or al Qaeda? Is this shit really going to go down.
Let me see, where are all of the oil reserves in Canada, which supply the USofA......ALBERTA!!! Have any of you been up to the camps in the north, near Ft McMurray? Is it just me or are there alot of Islamic related people up there? In the kitchens and out in the field. Are they here to start a better way of life or is it a plot to stategically position terrorists in key areas where they could do the most damage to the economy and our oil reserves? Imagine what an all out attack would do to our beloved industry/jobs.

If the oil industry gets hit with a lack of confidence in it's future and stability I would venture to say that 1/2 of the aviation jobs in western canada would be gone. zip, finished. All those cushy corporate jobs, toast. Oil is what is driving the economy and directly related to hundreds of piloting jobs. Is that relative enough.

If it was posted on the Misc. / Political Debate / Aviation Humor forums then maybe it is relative enoughflaps40 wrote:If the oil industry gets hit with a lack of confidence in it's future and stability I would venture to say that 1/2 of the aviation jobs in western canada would be gone. zip, finished. Nasty, fear-mongering pointless waste of time. Why bother messing with explosives if all you have to do is publish mindless crap like that? The west is so f*cked up with news reports I'm surprised we even go outside at all. Half the population too scared to go out and buy groceries and starves to death!

Profits over people. Always.
Better move this thread to the other side.
Wait, it gets better! If you remember the USA gave control of its shipping ports to...drum roll...the UAE! What a nice country it is.
If you arent convinced that this whole war on terror thing is a scam to suck us dry, I don't know what will.
Tommy Franks Defends Dubai Ports Deal
Newsmax | February 23 2006
Former CENTCOM commanding general Tommy Franks said Wednesday that the Bush administration was right to approve a deal for a United Arab Emirates-based company to run six major U.S. ports.
"We have more U.S. Navy ships using the port in Dubai, Jebel Ali, than any other port outside the United States," Franks told Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes."
The former Iraq war commander explained U.S. reliance on the Dubai port facility by saying, "We know he difference between an enemy and a friend."
"The Emirates is a friend," Franks aid. "That is the best run port that I've ever seen."
Gen. Franks said the Dubai company had three essential qualities that commend it for the task of running U.S. ports: The capacity to handle the job, the inclination to do it right and security, which he noted "will remain, in any case, in the hands of the United States Coast Guard."
That'll buff right out

Well, since already "there is a large al-Qaeda presence in Canada"

... it shouldn't be long.
Oh, just a minute... that was 8 months ago. By now we must have been obliterated.... or was that by SARS? Maybe it was the flu pandemic??....or mad cow??? ...or all-season radials in the winter-time???
I'm having trouble keeping track of all these things that are going to destroy us....
