Hi Guys
I know no float plane likes a tail wind.
However one location that our company runs into is a one way T/O LDG area
For you more experienced Beaver drivers, what is acceptable Tail wind for T/O and LDG.
Im thinking the company I work for may have set this too high myself...

personally i think you will be wasting your time converting your license and such there is limited movement in the industry down there and jobs are hard to come by, helps to know someone..

im a kiwi flying in canada at the moment, i had to do the written exam and flight test, the way they do things is a little different here but no big deal. for visa google NZWHP2008 or go to iep.co.nz

i agree with boozy here, i dont get why we allow ourselves to get shot in the foot like we do. perhaps this post been labled "First Year" would that lead people to belive that this is my first job ever?? ive already been doing wheel work for about 3 years and thought id try the floats out this year ...

hi all i was wondering what kind of hours will one need to get a job flying in b.c idealy vancouver island on floats with already having around a thousand on landplanes. and who would be the best companys to look into. any input would be great
