Re: Application Question
They replaced those boxes with one that asks if you have a pulse. I havent talked to a single person whos has been PFO'd this year. A friend of mine just got on with the min PIC time required for an AA. I believe he got that "under supervision" too.

Re: Banff Air Strip
I'm from Banff, I remember when it closed. There were a lot of happy and a lot of really pissed people. I think the reason was elk migration.

Anyone hear anything from Porter?
I interviewed about 8 weeks ago and haven't heard back yet? Anyone else interview around then hear anything yet? I was told I'd likely hear in 6-8 weeks and training could be as early as August and late as January depending on when they're able to get planes. Just curious. I'm still thinking no news...

Re: PORTER Interview ?
I got a call on the 2nd or 3rd, can't remember. They asked about my time, a couple Vspeed definitions and what SMS is. I was golfing when they called. Took 5 minutes then they said I'd hear back, haven't yet but have my fingers crossed. Anyone have anything like this?

Re: Porter
So if you're based in TO can you live somewhere else and just commute to work? Or do they want everyone living in TO? Could you live in Halifax for example, and commute to work the day before you start your rotation?

Re: Carson Air
Cadors aside it's still not an ideal place to work. Horrible schedule, worse pay, and no benefits. Why is the compensation bad? Because the turn over is high, why is the turn over high? Because the compensation is bad... Vicious cycle we have here don't we? And it will only continue when people know...
