Re: Any O.P.P. Pilots out there?
I haven't looked at the website but, I do know you have to be an OPP officer before flying their AC. They do some pretty cool stuff and the guys I know, are great folks too.
Re: THAT!
I was recently on a United flight, and I heard the same word accented as well. Must be a thing to help pax understand better.

Re: Mistaken altimeter settings can kill you
This is where OCD is a good thing. I know personally, in IMC and having done our checks through 10 with Altimeter setting checked, I always find myself around sector, checking for the Altimeter setting again knowing we just went through that. There's something about shitting my pants as we crash I h...

You're saying they were moving about, and then form up? How fast? Is it possible they were those Chinese Lanterns lots of people are getting into for celebrations?

Re: reason(s) for a p.f.o.
That sucks dude. It's a torture to wait like that just to come the this kinda result. Whatever the reason, try not to feel bad or take it to heart. I know a handful of pilots who've had this happen. One friend among them confused the shit out of me. This guy had everything one would imagine that see...

Re: Senior Pilots Bail Out...
If you have fear of the future, you are exactly where major corporations want you to be. They are controlled by the world banks, and who controls them? Answer: A few very powerful families. In todays North America, if you do not choose to become rich, you have made the choice to be poor.

Re: Senior Pilots Bail Out...
Actually, it IS a big deal. It would be easy to say that that is management’s problem, or it's management's fault. But really, it is everyone’s problem, and it doesn't matter what caused the problem--the problem is serious and must be dealt with. That's the smartest thing I've heard in quite someti...

I used to think that time was the 4th component, but I was wrong. Time exists in the 1st 2nd 3rd and so on regardless, but this brings us off topic.
Thanks for the link.

Re: A little less serious - anyone seen a UFO?
I havn't but some people I know have. I don't doubt it, but I do have a problem thinking they travel through the galaxies in a physical way. If we have them here, I think they've been here longer then we have, and it's a demensionary phenomenon. This in a way that can be spotted sometimes in the thi...

ACASS Contracts
Does anyone have advice about this company? I'm thinking of that direction and wonder if the pay is not a kick in the nuts. I've worked for less than standard once before and will never accept bullshit pay just to sit in a seat again.
Any info about the life of an ACASS pilot would be helpful.

It is kinda funny how they make it sounds like, "oh my... there's an airport in Canada where customs just let people through without an inspection?"

I believe this is a person with very intelligent thought. Tribal thinking tells us to nevermind and remember why you got into this industry. To fly fly fly. It's a dream come true. There's nothing wrong with that. Unless, there is a 800 pound gorilla on your back, who keeps getting heavier. ie: cash...

I report of Helo's droppin H2O over the meldown might work, if they had a conveyor belt of water, slingin' and droppin on a constant basis. I would contribute if only, we had enough planes to continuously drop. Of course until containment is, and all that shit... How's everybody doin? Honestly, to m...
