There's the Esungarq motel...run by the co-op store...it's a run down 3 room house with full kitchen. you cook for yourself. there are no restaurants in town. There's a northern store and co-op for groceries.
Leoni's place is a full service inn that will feed you for $50 per day in addition to the room rate, although it's highway robbery, but it's your only choice if you don't want to cook for yourself. Leoni's place has much nicer rooms, though. In both places you will get doubled up in the rooms if demand warrants it.
the town is small, isolated, and very little to do. there is a water falls nearby that you can drive to. roads don't go very far, but yuo will need a vehicle to get back and forth to the airport 15Km from town. It's a dry town, and no legion. if yu get to head out over the water, walrus island is a sight to see, as is coates island, as you will surely see polar bears and cubs this time of year.
i spent 7 weeks there back in 2005...i read a lot of books, and played a lot of PS2. if you talk to the principal at the high school, he may allow you to use the gym there after school hours.
air nunavut doesn't fly there...well, in 2005 they didn't maybe they do now....it's Calm Air and maybe Keewatin if they still exist under that name.

I'd stay at the Ramada Inn. The Hilton is always full, and the Ramada has a large water slide, and really hot chicks! The best place to eat is the KEG! The streetcar runs 24 hours a day, so getting to the airport is no problem. You can always catch the opera at the new Coral Harbor Opera House!
Oh, BTW, there ain't no coral, in Coral Harbour!

To get back on the question at hand... Stay at Leoni's place.. You don't want to stay at the Co-Op in Coral... I've been to both and Leoni's is the best hands down...
Don't even consider the co-op.
You'll love the flying around there. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask...
Cheers

The Co-op is definitely a shit hole, but you that's what you pay for your freedom from that guy at Leoni's. Depends on your situation and what you want. Esungarq(Co-Op) is for sure a little rough.ALT SEL wrote:Don't even consider the co-op. Cheers
The food can be really hit and miss at Leoni's...once he made us KD for dinner...um right....a little basic for $50 per day. Although the cakes and cookies that are out all day are a yummy treat(well, when it's home made, anyways). Hands down, though, Leoni's is a much cleaner, nicer place with a really comfy TV room/Lounge. For a short stay, it's definitely the best choice.
