The Immortal Beaver

Post by Zapp Brannigan »

Hey, not sure if this is posted yet, couldn't find it. Tomorrow, May 20th on The History channel at 7:00 MST I believe, there is an hour long documentary on the beav. Think this is one time, there may be other playing in the day though.

I noticed the title is the same as a book made about the dhc-2. But, this one has Indiana Jones in it!!!

Just finished watching the Immortal beaver, pretty good Documentary. If Indiana Jones has a beaver, it must be a cool machine. Im looking forward to flying it this summer even more.

It's on at 9pm EST....same time as Hells Kitchen. I'm still trying to decide...

I think Gordon Ramsay may come out on top though.

Sorry, Tids, looked for your name, but didn't see it.
Interesting, but pretty much long the same lines as the book. Kinda makes me want to go and fly a Beaver now, though..

I was about 14 as I recall it. It wasn't until years later that I realized they called an airplane the same thing.

In 1976 and there was nobody around to check me out. I phoned a friend who gave me the power settings, wrote them down and checked myself out the next morning. Weeks later, an experienced Beav driver showed up and he gave me a good ride.

We also had an Aztec and I had to do the same thing, having 7 hours total multi time in an Apache (and my twin rating!). After all, it was just an over powered Apache wasn't?
