What I meant to ask is do you have to do anything stupid like go for a flight test or anything like that?

Get your application into a TC office and from what I was told pay a $85 fee to get a temp until your new one comes in the mail.

I was pretty late in getting mine switched over. I just received it a couple weeks ago. I sent the application to Vancouver and I believe it took about 3 weeks for me to get it back in hand. Didn't cost me anything other than the passport photos.

I applied for and received my "new" license booklet in November 2008.

Yeah I know I am really, really late in getting this but to be honest I was just going to let my license go and sell the plane as I have pretty much lost interest in flying but the old lady is nagging at me to keep it.

I'd rather use the cash from the plane to make my home totally electrical self sufficient.
