Decisions, decisions

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Need an opinion, though.

PIC on a >12,500 pound turboprop (might just take me a few more months to get there, though)

OR

F/O on a larger turboprop (705 time)?

(currently left seat on a <12,500 pound turboprop, with 700 MPIC)

I've heard both sides of the coin on this one so far.

Any advice on this one?

Assuming you've finished your bond/agreement, I say get a thousand MPIC and go where the money is! Be it the left seat or the right.

Not on a bond right now.

AC is the ultimate goal (or WS, no real allegiance here).

I'm just wondering if 700 vs 1000 MPIC would make a huge difference to any of the "large" companies out there.

contrails has some requirements and certain contracts will specify min number of hrs etc so more the better mpic

If your goal is airline, then go for the 705 time, imho. Is it a right-now choice, or do you have the luxury of waiting a few months until you are >1000MPIC?

It's a "right now" thing...decision must be made by today.
