Re: Flair- 767
With the awarding of the major ship building contract in the Maritimes, there is a huge need to start shipping all the newfies from Fort Mac back home.
How can you tell which one is the pilot when you walk into a bar?....Don't worry he will come up and tell you.
Re: Flair- 767
in the Alberta education system, anything east of Quebec is "newfie" territory

Re: Flair- 767
From Manitoba's education system, as I remember it, if Quebec were to separate, you could shave 4 hrs off of the trip from Newfoundland to Toronto....hehehe
"Stand-by, I'm inverted"
Re: Flair- 767
I don't want to spoil your joke or question a "Manitoba education", but the flight from YYT to YYZ takes roughly 3.5 hours on a normal day. Even with that pesky Quebec standing in the way.mbav8r wrote:From Manitoba's education system, as I remember it, if Quebec were to separate, you could shave 4 hrs off of the trip from Newfoundland to Toronto....hehehe

Donald...
You left your pocket protector in the science lab after your math club meeting....
You, my friend, are a fun-sponge.
Cheers.

No worries Tailgunner, you're probably just another westerner who thinks they've gone to "Eastern Canada" anytime they make a pit stop in Ontario.

To westerners, the Far East is the Maritimes.

Alberta - don't you have tar pits and dinosaurs or something?
I guess if you are from the west, you know a thing or 2 about the stone ages...

Have you all noticed how windy it's been in Saskatchewan? My theory is that Manitoba sucks and Alberta blows. Just a theory though

Flying airplanes is easy, you just need to PAY ATTENTION. Finding a good job on the other hand takes experience, practice, and some serious talent.
Re: Flair- 767
We are all Canadian and we should give our fellow Canadians a break. Even if they are from the west coast.

Re: Flair- 767
Does anyone have any information on Flairs plans for the 767, there isn't any info up on there site and have not found much here yet?
Re: Flair- 767
Interesting that this thread has largely turned away to a discussion about East vs West. Shows that people don't take that company and their BS seriously.
Heard that they recently lost a wrongfull dismissal case brought against them by one of their captains.
Tells you something about how they conduct themselves probably.

How come it seems Flair isnt liked very much? from a FA stand point they seem very nice, very easy to approach, very open.
Unlike some other airline i work and have worked for as FA, that most memos and discussions always end up with the crew member threten to be fired.
This is just a Fa opinion mind you.
