WASAYA

Post by CAVESPRING »

Hey folks quick question for those in the know. Does Wasaya hire guys with less than 1000 hours TT? How does 900 hrs look to them?

I appreciate any input

Thank you and happy holidays.

I think so long as you can come up with cash, they'll hire anyone.

Oh, Training Bonds... forgot about those. Oh well, better look somewhere else.

Thanks!

You have renewed a little bit of my faith in pilots.

I really hope I'm not overlooking sarcasm.

No sarcasm. Not going to buy a job. There are operators out there who don't require Bonds, I just have to look harder.

And just like that, my faith goes back to normal levels. For every one that says no to bonds, there's four jackholes who will.

No no, I was curious to get a general idea of these companies and I had heard they did pick up a PC-12/45

Oh boy, is this thread about to devolve into a debate about bonds? How exciting! This almost never happens!

Wasaya doesn't require a bond for PC-12 f/o's. They do for every other position but if you start as a PC-12 first officer at least you have time to judge for yourself whether you want to pay them a bond or not for an upgrade.

They're looking for a 748 skipper? This is rare. Great airplane. Fun to fly. Not fun in any other way.

Two tings:

Firstly, they require money upfront unless things have changed in the last couple years.

Secondly,Takamasa, you seem to bounce around more then a pingpong ball... I suggest staying put somewhere, anywhere for more then a year. When you start applying to places with a resume that is more transient then a Canadian Goose, the people doing the hiring see that you are only there for quick upgrades and will leave in a short time, this leads to no call backs (except from operators who take your money before hand, in which case expect plenty of call backs. Most of these places charge WAY more for a bond then a PPC costs).

Takamasa,

Your posting history suggests you will do ANYTHING for that next job and will accept work under the worst conditions. I submit that you have done this to yourself and deserve to feel the pain you are feeling for personally justifying the sh@&ty employers in their mistreatment of young pilots! Have a sense of self worth just once and do not accept or consider substandard working conditions or restrictive bonds.

As was previously suggested maybe this industry just isnt for you and its time to find a new line of work.
