Approach plates on the internet?

Post by seiger »

Is there anywhere on the net where you can get approach plates? I'm looking for mirabels approaches to be specific. I googled but came up with nothing.

I know people have emailed plates before..

Don't know where you can find them online, not for free, sorry, Navcanada, soon(not soon enough for you though).

But Yeah, someone has always been able to email plates to other people on this forum from what I recall of the older forum....

Yes you can, the American gov publication for approach plates is online. I don't remember the name of the Pubs but there the shitty ones in the green book.

Heres a link for world wide approach plates:

http://www.aeronauticalchartfinder.com/ ... ink&cid=80

This site has all the current US pubs including LOs HIs and sectionals:

http://www.myairplane.com/databases/approach/index.php

Canada seems to be one of the only countries that doesn't post the current pubs online.

airnav.com also has 'em for the US. always current, with interim updates.

NavCanada would go out of business with all the "thrifty" pilots (myself included) printing them off instead of spending $500/year.

Sorry, for out of date IFR charts, you can find CAP 1-7 + CAP GEN in PDF format on any Flight Simulator network site.

IVAO, VATSIM etc..

http://public.freeworld-airways.net/splendor/charts/

Mirabel would be in the CAP5 and CAP6 folders

Regards,

Marc
