I remember back in the day the fun we had with our instructors. Flying was one thing but chasing bears through the bush with the van, taking students to the bar after flying in the van, and parties. Just wondering if this type of entertainment still goes on with todays instructors.
Man, the fun we had!!!

Is there a statute of limitations in aviation?

It's better to break ground and head into the wind than to break wind and head into the ground.

You would get charged under the law that applied at the time of the offence. For example, if did something that became illegal a week after you did it, you could not be charged.
So if you did something that was illegal under the ANOs when they applied, that's what you would get charged with. You could not be charged with breaking a regulation in the CARs prior to 1996.
But, as it was said, there is no statute of limitations.

I was a big fan of the infamous Van in front of the Dime
not that anyone knows which instructor pulled that one off.
Ofcourse who could forget running from the rent-a-cops, with an instructor leading the way... I think that night ended up at the Dime too...
