Im prepping to write the IATRA exam in 10 days and Im slightly confused on one specific topic.
I know TC was in a bit of a transition phase with regards to the duty times and them being mostly reduced. Have these been officially implemented yet? If so, have they been corrected on the written exams?

Re: New Flight Duty Times - Written Exams
I would not be concerned yet - if you go to the Justice Laws Canada website they are still using the old version of the flight duty rules under Part VII:
https://lois-laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/reg ... l#s-700.13
So until the CARs themselves have been updated for the new rules you should assume all written exams will be based on the existing requirements. Probably as well once the new rules come into effect there would be a lag time to get the new questions onto the written tests and supporting Study and Reference Guides which would take a little more time.

I'm in the same position,
It's actually at the end of the CAR's, but I can't find when it will be implemented...
— SOR/2018-269, s. 13, as amended by SOR/2019-296, s. 11
13 Division III of Part VII of the Regulations is replaced by the following:
[700.13 to 700.18 reserved]
Division III — Flight Crew Member Fatigue Management
(...)
Maximum Flight Time
700.27 (1) An air operator shall not assign flight time to a flight crew member, and a flight crew member shall not accept such an assignment, if the member’s total flight time will, as a result, exceed
(a) 112 hours in any 28 consecutive days;
(b) 300 hours in any 90 consecutive days;
(c) 1,000 hours in any 365 consecutive days; or
(d) in the case of a single-pilot operation, 8 hours in any 24 consecutive hours.
