Hi,
For the PPL flight test, a navlog for the x-country had to be written out for WCA, TAS, variation, etc.
For an IFR flight test, can a nav log be generated by ForeFlight or does it all have to be done by hand again.
Asking for a friend.

I did mine by hand, but the examiner made it clear I could use foreflight, I just didn’t have a foreflight subscription back then

Just a thought, but your friend’s instructor should be able to answer that definitively.
