exactly, take home pay is your gross, minus 700.
It is independant of your base, position, if there is ESOP, what insurance you have, RRSP

That’s $8400 per year …… per pilot you guys are paying … guys / gals making 38,000 will be be making 29,600 before tax!! LMAO!!!

Yeah, hope to god whatever provider does direct billing because your credit card is probably maxed!! Also, hopefully, there’s bus or sky train because good look affording a car and insurance.

Now, let’s compare someone in a relatively high tax bracket:
Quite conceivably an employee with a before tax income of 80ish could conceivably be down around 48-50 ish K after taxes and benefits …. East Hastings looks mighty good. !!
