Hey all

Remember that movie "Con Air" with Nicholas Cage? Does anyone know what type of airplane is in that movie?

C-123 is correct and said aircraft is presently (as of May 26,2006) parked on the ramp in Kingman Arizona. Stored with a number of Jetsreams, Dornier 328's, L-1011 and Bae 146. If you get there have a look.

Little Known Fact:

Marty McSorly, the 18 or so year NHL veteran, appeared in this movie twice. As the cojo who was somehow over powered by a wiry John Malkovich, and again as an inmate.

Not an Oscar worthy performance, but still worth noting.

PS: I'm gonna shrink the avatar real soon. I'm enlisting the help of an "electrical genious".

I always find it funny to hear a Conair pilot telll some non aviation type who they work for. The wheels star turning..."you work for who? " You know they've seen the movie but didn't know there actually was such a thing.
