Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME ) to join our team in Smeaton, Saskatchewan. This role involves maintaining our Bell 206 series and Airbus AS350 (AStar) series helicopters, ensuring airworthiness and operational readiness for a wide variety of aerial missions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and avionics issues on Bell 206 and AS350 helicopters.
• Maintain accurate logbook entries and ensure compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
• Support remote field operations and ensure readiness of mission-critical aircraft.
• Collaborate closely with pilots and operations teams to meet tight project timelines.
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Transport Canada AME License (Category M1).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Bell 206 and/or AS350 helicopters.
• Deep understanding of helicopter systems, safety procedures, and Canadian regulatory standards.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel for field maintenance operations across Saskatchewan.
Preferred Assets:
• Field work experience or remote deployment capability.
• Additional endorsements or factory training (Bell/Airbus).
• Experience with a variety of mission-specific equipment or other rotorcraft types.
