Everytime you post you have a new quote that demeans our industry.Pilot_adam wrote:At least you will get paid to fly everyday !!!!!![]()

"At least you will get paid to fly everyday"
"At least you die doing what you love"
Any other gems, genious? Also, I have gone through our resume pile and thrown out all of the resumes with the name Adam on them.
The gist of that video is not lost on many, at least not in the states. There are all kinds of people willing to work for dick in this ind., maybe they live with mommy and daddy, who knows how and who pays their bills. Unless pilots choose to walk around airports for a few weeks, carrying signs reading - I get paid 20k/yr to fly your 80 sorry asses around in a 15 bazillion dollar airplane, I have no life and work ridiculous hours and shifts with no o/t, are you sure you want to get on?? - nothing will change. And of course we all know, that will never happen.
You will never live long enough to know it all, so quit being anal about it..

It would not take me to demean this industry ...
I am just as frustrated as everybody else here!!! I gave flying all I have and still have ways to go, I know it is a long dark tunnel ,but hey If there is a well there is a way

desksgo, isn't flying what you love to do ??!!
I never said I would fly a plane knowing that my pax and I are not safe up there , but if shit happened I would want my family and friends to know that I died doing what I loved to do!!! got it ?
sorry if I have offended anyone on here

cheers
Adam

Adam, you'll never make it as a pilot until you've been offensive on Avcanada. There is a correlation...about every 3rd post I offend someone, but at least I capitalize my "i's!"
And I'm so very successful 'at aviation' I can hardly stand myself.

"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."

From my mail file:
Dear all,
To day 13 Aug at 12: 25hrs flight 218 (AN 24 ) had some fuel leakage problem with the right side engine in Mazar airport, the crew members checked the problem and they could repair it , but due to remaining some fuel in side/around the engine and some fuel which was dropped off on the ramp , while starting the engine it went in fire and with immediate action from crews members they announced to the all passenger to get off the aircraft and with the fire extinguisher they could extinguished the fire.
We immediately contacted Mazar Tower for help and they provided us with the ISAF fire fighters and they arrived on the spot, they helped us clean up the fuel from ramp so that the crew members could start the engine again without any problems. Thus the matter is forwarded for your consideration and information.
The passengers were scared because of the fire, but the captain said it was OK to flight now because the fire was extinghished. The passengers went in the plane, and the plane departed behind schedule.
Attached pls find some pictures of the todays incident.
