Can anyone tell me anything about All Canada Express. What their mins are, how they pay and so forth. I understand that they were in some financial trouble a little while ago but are they getting out of it. Any info would be great.
Thanks

When it stops leakin oil then you worry.
Busy right now. They have already run 2 ground schools for SO's this year. Upgrades seem to be a year or less. Contract work for AC, and lots of work down in the Carribean and Central America. They will soon have 7 727's. May well be adding something larger for longer haul work on the AC stuff. Pay is very respectable and no $30,000 bonds!

ACE lost domestic contract with Air Canada. CargoJet has that contract now.
Also there is a rumor going around that ACE will not get contract with Air Canada with DC 10. There is another company that will get that contract.
If you get in ACE count on flying Cuba and South America .
At least that is what i hear from many ...

Not the greatest company. You fly 2 on, 2 off I think. They do crew swaps once or twice a week in YYZ. You'll be "hubbed" out of Havana. And I put quotes in hubbed becuase it's not an official hub or you'd have to move there.
They'll fly you to your max over the two weeks. I've dealt with ace as a line supervisor for horse charters they used to do. very un-organized.
apparently they're starting the horse chraters up again (they fly the horses out west) from yhm.
They'll bring parishables up from the caribbean especially during the winter months (flowers, seafood, cigars, etc). (I know...cigars aren't praishable...to most).
They basically went bankrupt a few years ago. They still owe thousands to my fbo, but they added an "inc." to their name, and got a new start down south...seems like they're trying to slowly come back. Arch-enemy of CargoJet though, FYI.

I Applied there over and over, but not a peep from them. I've got over 1,400 hours as an S/O and they still didn't even give me the time of day. But whatever, I've got work now, so its no longer an issue. Off to Paris on Saturday.
