I suspect that Mr Oxlong is intimately familiar with the organization.

I could tell you from experience, the company is not bad at all. CGAA goes all around the world. Sure the pay could be better, but the pay at a lot of places could be better. As with many companies, the pay structure gets better with those who stick around. CGAA is not the highest, but is not the lowest. True: all the guys that leave CGAA end up on a widebody. I guess they majors really like the type of flying that we do. I can't help but laugh when I read comments made by people who have friends of friends of friends who have worked for the company. I guess thats what you get when your flying a C172 and think your gonna end up on a jet job with that time. Contrary to popular belief, the guys here are great bunch of guys who are happy with the places they are going to and the job they have.
avi8tr, I have always felt the same as you...friends of friends, I know someone, etc. Mostly wannabees, who have no real idea what goes on...I get the same response to our company as well...No other job that i can think of provides the incredible experience of flying on two hours notice, anywhere in the world. After a two year stint, AC or others takes them away from us!
Take care.
Take care.

I’ve heard some good and bad about this company. I was wondering if someone with first hand experience knows the answers to a bunch of questions.
1. Training Bond: FO/Capt. Do they have one, if so how much and what
are the details.
2. Starting Pay: FO/Capt
3. Schedule: What’s the deal (heard that they count days waiting in
hotel rooms in other countries as time off, is this
true?)
4. Hours Requirements? FO/Capt
