Resumes?

Post by xsbank »

I find I have some more free time as its too cold to varnish, yet, so if anyone else would like their resume and cover looked at I will do some more. It will cost you a please to get me to do it and a thank you when its done, and sometimes I ask you to let me know how you made out.

That's all.

Thanks, for your help with mine a while back, can't quite remember if thanked you at the time.
Great help though, anyone working on a resume should beg for any help they can get...

If you didn't thank me you are on my sh*tlist and I send your details to Revenue Canada (or whatever they call themselves these days) so that you'll have a friend for life and never lack attention.

You got lucky, Lazy, as you are now off the list. You're welcome!

LMAO...luckly I thank'd him...though his resume help didn't help me get a job :( (not his fault; he did a GREAT job on my resume)
HOWEVER I did get a new job :)
Thx to word of mouth & a recomendation from someone who knew me & had saw my fly in the past, I got a phone call inviting me to an interview & a job without having submited a resume :) (after they hired me they check'd the resume to confirm what I had told them was true)
Goes to show, your reputation is your life in this industry

Great news Just!

Hold off the requests for a few days; that is, anyone who has heard back from me, send 'em in, the rest, wait a while, maybe 'til after the weekend - I've got 10 more to do.

Xsbank,
Thanks for helping me with my resume and cover letter. Both look great! I'll let you know how I make out in the job market.

Cheers,

You're welcome Mr. Jones - Good luck on the job hunt!

I just counted the resumes and I've done tons since December...makes me feel tired thinking about it. Give me the weekend off to do the ones I've accepted and and I'll do some more on Monday.

Anybody who is still looking, don't give up! You need to make LOTS of contacts some times before you get your job. Just keep at it, there's one out there for you.
