Swiss / Italian License

Post by Freddy_Francis »

Ive tried searching on the internet but not much has turned up.

Do these countries fall under the JAA or do they have their own license? I believe ive read that the swiss have their own license requirments but im not able to find anything out...any info is appreciated...and yes I did use the search function

Thanks

Both Switzerland and Italy are JAA Member States. Each JAA country issues its own licence but through mutual recognition (in theory) the licence should be accepted throughout the JAA. ie. able to fly an a/c you are rated on on any JAA registered a/c.
