With regards to license... ie: Canadian, American, European... I should have asked if anyone had any important info they could share.

PPL ...Good one LT!!!! Get a life! Instead of spending your time telling people what they don't want to hear, try telling yourself what people want you to hear.

http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?t=3316

City:Kahului
State/Province:Hawaii
Country:USA
Aircraft Types:C208B
We are seeking 350-900 hour pilots wishing to build time to qualify for captain at 1200 hours.

For further details email the chief pilot
at: chill@pacificwings.com. Mahalo.
http://www.pilotcareercenter.com/JobRes ... lineID=672
- Minimum time to apply is 500 hours Total Time.
- Must have a right to work in the United States.
You can deduce that if it's in the states that you'll need an FAA license. You can also conclude with certainty that a pilot with 350 hours won't have a ATPL so you just need a CPL....

Can anyone provide any info on Pacific Wings...fleet, min, license etc...
So to answer your question, which could have been answered by reading their post was...

It's based in Hawaii, that's the US, US = Green Card or Right to work in the US = FAA license, 350 < ATPL = CPL

and the fleet consists of Caravans

Time to "research" info.. 5 minutes..

PPL ...Good one LT!!!! Get a life! Instead of spending your time telling people what they don't want to hear, try telling yourself what people want you to hear.

Time to write rant, XX minutes..

Applause..

I have to agree with LT. He did break it down pretty good. Sometimes people need help to read between the lines. LT, thank you for that.

Seeing as WestEx was paying Zero dollars, this is a huge pay increase for some pilots..

Who was it last month, "AGL?" that was offering for us to pay 30k to fly right seat in a Caravan?? -$250/hr

It's not Glamorous.. But it is pay, and that's what we have to deal with now, since you have the other guys going to AGL who pay $30k to fly.

You can always hope it's $8/hr flat instead of $8/flight hour.

Its a sad day(decade) for the aviation industry.

Needless to say they're fax machine has probably been spooling page after page for the last 24hrs.
