That would be Green Lake, and they do mostly tours out of there in the summer. They have a Beaver, a Turbo Otter, and right now they have an ex Slate Falls Caravan in a YVR hangar that they may be buying. I hear they may run it on wheels next summer. Should be a good machine for doing the glacier tours.
What's the recent word on the Whistler Airport plan?
I don't think that there's room in the valley for a decent length gravel strip, let alone 5k ft of tarmac for all of the bizjets that they'd want to attract. Better to build a decent GPS approach into Pemberton, and bus it - or YVR.

Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?
Happiness is V1 at Thompson!
Ass, Licence, Job. In that order.

didn't pemberton once have an MLS approach...
even the valley, depending on which side you come from is pretty tight... but I'd rather fly into pemberton than bus up from YVR
The MLS was tried and TC used our -7's when I was at AirBC to test it but it just didn't work.
I did hear today though that the caravan will actually be operated on floats in the summer. Airplane looks pretty good, getting a hot section right now.
