Good people. Decent benefits. Bag run no fun, burns guys out fast. Pay has gone up in an attempt to stem the huge exodus of pilots and it seems to be working. Per diems are are a respectable $72 a day. If you stay, progression is good and moving from a turbo-prop to a jet is not out of reach any more. Be prepared to fly your bag off on the turbo-prop side. Jets tend to be away from base as with most other charter jet outfits. Its a good place to be esp if you meet contrail requirements and have a PPC on a type they operate.

Re: Sunwest
Best place I have worked hands down! People are great for the most part, a few bitter as you will fine anywhere.(mostly copilots that can't make an up grade becuase of contrail or having no pic) The pay is good and has just gone up. The schedule is monday to firday on the turbo props, if weekend trips come up its up to you to volenteer if you want a call out or day in liew. Lots of people getting on jets in a years time. More jets on the way, atleast one coming over from Cariboo. The chief pilot is a great guy and very approachable, along with the other management. Its the kind of company where you will get in trouble for breaking the rules, not the other way around.
