No idea, but PAG is trying hard to win over the people. Apparently someone went on TV and accused the competition of being "dangerous to fly with". That is a pretty bold statement.

Exclusivity with whom? Their esteemed (and subsidized) clientele?

PAG is trying talk Garden Hill First Nation into signing an exclusivity agreement with them. Meaning the people of Garden Hill would "have to" fly fly with PAG. Wether it be leisure, walk on medicals or medevac flights. Apparently this is nothing new and has been offered in the past. PAG is offering GHFN a lump sum cash amount (peanuts in the grand scheem of things), free home coming flights, discount prices during Red River Ex. etc. They are having a referendum today. I don't mind PAG bribing people into flying with them, but as I mentioned in my previous post... accusing the competion of being unsafe on TV is stretching it. That is a personal attack on the work ethics of the employees of said airline.

I know who was on TV, but will keep names out of it. As far as accusing the competition of being unsafe, i.e. flying overloaded all the time? 100% slander. (yes... being overloaded all the time was one of the specific accusations broadcast on local TV). Oh and it was conveniently broadcast the day before GHFN has a referendum regarding PAG exclusivity....coincidence?

Tell us who was on TV and exactly what they said.

There is no expectation of privacy here if they were on TV.

They can't have that kind of agreement for medevacs. They can have priority call but they won't be able to deliver the service all the time. Sometime they are out of plane or all pilots are resting, garden hill will have to call somebody else...or wait.

Exactly, no nursing station, or nurse for that matter will wait for a medevac plane, its who ever can get there first. If someones life is on the line and they have to wait for a couple hours for Perimeter to show up if their plane is not there will equal lawsuit city if someone kicks the can waiting while Skynorth sits there, or Fast Air is 30 mins away...

I guess all the slag is at Sky North and their 1900's, who else is running sched in there? Thats one way of dealling with a little competition...

The agreement was turned down by referendum. roughly 30% for, and 70% against it. People are smart enough to know that monopoly is not the solution.

As far as whom went on tv... I will not use names here, but he was the former Chief of Garden Hill, and is now employed by the Perimeter ownership group. Yes Kistigan (under SkyNorth's OC) is the only other scheduled operator in to Garden Hill as far as I know. I can personally assure everyone it is not a "dangerous" airline to fly with.
