Does anyone out there have any experience/knowledge about the Canadian forces pilot color vision requirements. I'm planning on applying but have a color vision issue. I've gone around in circles trying to get information from the matter from the CF's. I hold a class 1 medical without any restrictions on my CPL or cat 1 IFR, but fail the color dot test every time I take it. I can on the other hand pass the "chalk" test or the Farnsworth D-15 eye color exam which allows me to hold the class 1 medical without restrictions.
Can anyone comment on the matter on what is required by the CF's pilots? Do you need to pass all color tests or does passing the Farnsworth D-15 alone, but not passing the color dot test, allow you to fly for the Canadian forces?
Thanks

Re: Color vision
Talk to a recruiter in person, not over the phone or chat. It was an immediate DQ for me when I was working towards the same goal.
