Aviation History in the Okanagan

I am wanting to get a bit of history together of aviation in the BC North Okanagan region and particularly the Vernon and Salmon Arm areas.
Anyone who has stories, tales or interesting facts or any other information to share, it would be appreciated.

Hang around the Salmon Arm airport. Lots of activity once spring arrives. Check in with the folks at the flying club.
