Calgary interview

Post by loopy »

I have an interview coming up in Calgary in February. Just wondering what the chances are, provided I was successful and accepted an offer, for getting a Calgary basing? If so, would it be possible to commute from YEG initially? What types are operated out of the YYC base? Is there a good source for interview prep?

You can commute on WestJet via reciprocal Jumpseat. Flight passes on the airline you actually work for don't commence for 6 months after you start.

Doesn't make sense = welcome to an airline

And cheaper to travel jumpseat on WestJet then on AC!

Again, doesn't make sense = welcome to aviation!

You should be more concerned with whether or not you will still have a
job in 6 months let alone a base assignment.

Absolutely no reason to think a new hire wouldn't have a job in 6 months.
