For what city would probably help out and your GP should know who these docs are, give the office a call or any doctors office for that matter.

Re: Thank goodness for that!
I would like to think I can rely on the members here to be responsible enough to follow the rules and keep things here civil and not get the webmaster into hot water. I would challenge any of you that tend to post the negative comments to say what you say here to the people or company for whom your...

Re: Thank goodness for that!
And it probably will be. I will often remove a reported thread and leave it in the mod cave specially if it has a lot of technical stuff involved. As most on here know I am not in aviation, never have been. That in its self leaves me with no other choice than to rely on some of the other mods who ha...

Here is the reason it is gone. You all agreed to these rules when you signed on, not too sure why when we follow these rules you are surprised?

Re: Here is a review of the rules
What exactly are the standards here, do they correlate to the rules? I.e. If I post here I should expect to not be sexually harassed? Absolutely you should expect to not be sexually harassed, and personal attacks are out as well. By and large this site is respectful and friendly even when some of t...

Re: Here is a review of the rules
I honestly can't remember the last time Pprune was mentioned on here but if comments were made of a defamatory nature or if it is complained about via the little red explanation mark it may be removed for moderation. Without the context though it is hard to say why.

Here is a review of the rules
For those of you questioning why topics sometimes go away and thinking it is those bad old moderators that are picking sides I post the following for all of you to once again peruse. The forum rules are as follows: -any post complained about will be reviewed. This normally will mean that the topic w...

Re: Fort McMurray mandatory evac
I do not respond often to any of the posts on here but feel, for a change, that I am experienced enough as a first responder to comment. Those that chose to stay behind after an evacuation order has been dropped should be charged with reckless endangerment. It's one thing to risk your own life it's ...

Re: You might want to think twice before taking Tylenol
Pain medication works in different ways. Some go directly to the brain to tell the brain to numb the pain and some are attracted to a chemical released by the body called protaglandin which is produced in the area of the pain. Tylenol metabolises in the liver so isn't a great drug to take for a hang...

Slacking the moderators? Listen, if a thread get complained about by using that little red exclamation mark the thread is often removed to the mod cave and reviewed. Sometimes it stays removed and sometimes it is reviewed, the offending passages removed and it is returned. For some reason you are ac...

Tough for new members, because I'm looking to buy something in the classifieds and have no way of contacting the seller, as posting in there is restricted and PMing is restricted for me as well. There is a forum rules section in every topic. I used to go in and welcome every new member personally b...

Re: Levels of Medevac?
It has been a while since I was doing medevacs but I believe that this is how it is done. A medevac is a medevac. These people would not be going by air most time if tertiary care was not needed. Out of Kelowna we have two types of medevacs (at least I believe that they still do this) a high acuity ...

Re: Westjet cover up: Alleged sexual assaults by pilot
So 15 pages of opinion about Westjet's reaction to a lawsuit and a lot of speculation on an event that may or may not have happened. I know a lot of Westjet people. I don't know anyone working for Westjet who is not an adult. As an adult you should know the difference between right and wrong but the...

Here is what the person who started this post asked: -...
