Re: Golden, BC
I would love to be able to fly for WJ and live there. Used to work in and around the valley in the summers and always thought the place would be great to raise a family. Do the boys try and bid mostly 5 day pairings with PM check-in and AM check-outs? Is it possible to do that? I guess that would mi...

Golden, BC
Any Westjet pilots living in Golden? Does it make for a horrible commute or is it manageable?

Has there been any talk of increasing the starting pay at AC with the new contract?

Re: 50 Q400 at WJ being farmed out
I hope all of the Westjet pilots realize how absolutely MONUMENTAL their decision will be for the future of all pilots in Canadian aviation, not just today but in years ahead. The Westjet business model has been profitable with their current system which pays their pilots a fair and respectable wage...

Re: Your favorite airline lounge
Is there any way to access the lounges if you are jumpseating? I notice on the AC website you need a "same-day confirmed boarding pass" (plus fee) to get in.

Skysix I'd like you to give some examples of situations where you would challenge the flight crews decision and choose to refuse a flight.

Borek Direct Entry Captain Question
Has Borek ever hired direct entry DHC-6 captains that meet the captain minimums (ATPL, 2500 TT), have time on DHC-2 and DHC-3T, but don't have any DHC-6 time?

Re: A serious discussion about marijuana.
The only problem I have with marijuana is that long-term I think it is a serious de-motivator. People that smoke weed regularly (days off or whatever) lose ambition and seem to settle for much less than they are capable of. I have personally witnessed this with a TON of friends. I have no problem wi...

Re: Missinippi Air Now Requires Training Bond
All this bond does is hurt the company further. I couldn't agree more. If they had problems retaining character guys in the past it is only going to get worse by attracting the kind of people who don't paying money up front just for the privilege of employment. It sounds like they need to focus on ...

Pacific Coastal's Gooses
What do they look for as far as time goes for their drivers? And is there a minimum for tailwheel time? PM if you prefer.
